After having another drink and talking for a bit more at the bar, me and Tara got up and went to the edge of the patio to enjoy the ocean scenery together. I told her again that this trip would also be about rebuilding my mind and becoming strong enough to defeat the darkness. She told me she would always be by my side to support me and help fight the darkness with me. I looked into her eyes and held her close to me. I told her that I loved her, and then we kissed. I'm so thankful to have such a loving and beautiful woman who will always be there for me no matter how difficult things may be.
Logbook Entry:
This is a composition I composed a little while back. It's a composition that reflects upon me and Tara's experiences during our stay in the world of the future. It was a brutal place, and we nearly died several times. As dangerous as the world of the future was, it was also mysterious, and its secrets left me with much curiosity. Maybe one day time will bring me and Tara back to the world of the future so that we can learn more about its secrets, but hopefully not before we get married.
